If that was possible back then, without the public ever finding out about it, then what are the realistic restrictions on faking the saga in relation to 'Russian hackers' and the US election? Putin has stated on numerous occasions that today's internet technology knows almost no limits, therefore anyone from anywhere in the world could have hacked the DNC, if that indeed did occur, while rerouting the fingerprint to Russia.
